parts relay system

Post by citronut » 23 Aug 2008, 09:01

how many FCF users would be interseted in joinnig together to form a parts collection and delivery relay network across the UK,

maybe each member go to about 20ish miles,

as im after getting an O/S rear door in white collected from DURHAM to go to east sussex but my courrier freind is away for 10 days,

I'd be more than happy to do a relay leg in this neck of the woods Malcolm... As long as it does not involve the A21

Excellent idea, Malcolm! :x I'm up for it, so I'll be your nearest link. If we get John (jgra1) in the scheme, he is the next link going north.

Ideally we need to know where everybody is on the map so we can plot a matrix.

The only two stumbling blocks I can see must be Jim in NP, afraid to come further south (we're not really cannibals in Sussex, ) and poor old Andrew stuck out in Wales.

Jim, I think the M25 in all its guises beats the A21 into a cocked hat for car parking.

Good idea Malcolm!
Though I doubt there will be much call for it down around Exeter, but if there is I'd be willing to jump on the bandwagon.

High guys, although this post is somewhat off topic, I would just like to mention that some of you will remember my fairly recent need of a driver's electric window mechamism, as well as a HDi fuel tank for a Xantia estate - these items cost around £600 from Main Stealers.

Well, I found the items via breakers.com (PCR Recylers), and they delivered them to S France for the sum of £194GBP - both items in good condition. I am well pleased.
