Is it necessary to replace the big end nut/bolts when replacing the bearing shells on a ZX 1.9 TD?
Thanks

As no reply was forthcoming I wasn't prepared to take the chance so I replaced the lot. I would still be interested to know whether it was necessary, the Haynes manual says yes, they just don't seem to be torqued up very high for their size.
If you are interested they are about £3.60 each from Citroen, you would have thought that they sold them in pairs but no, they all come individually bagged at extra expense no doubt.
